Digital X-Rays and NOMAD Handheld Imaging
We use NOMAD handheld digital x-ray units throughout our office. These portable units allow us to capture precise, high-quality images of your teeth and jaw quickly, with significantly less radiation than traditional film x-rays.
The images appear on-screen within seconds, which means we can review them with you in real time. There is no waiting, no film to develop, and no ambiguity. What we see, you can see.
CBCT 3D Imaging
Our cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanner produces detailed three-dimensional models of your teeth, jaw, sinuses, and surrounding bone structure. It is an entirely different level of diagnostic detail compared to traditional two-dimensional x-rays.
CBCT imaging is particularly valuable for:
- Planning dental implant placement with precision
- Evaluating impacted teeth and wisdom teeth
- Assessing jaw and bone structure for complex restorations
- Diagnosing issues that may not be visible on standard x-rays
For you, the experience is simple. You stand in place while the scanner moves around you. It takes about 20 seconds and does not touch you.
